Mustafa Centre Among 3 New Places Visited By Confirmed Covid-19 Patients

MOH Adds Mustafa Centre, Tampines Mall, Geylang Serai To Places Visited By Covid-19 Cases

The Ministry of Health (MOH) added 3 more locations to their list of places visited by infected Covid-19 patients on Sunday (7 Jun), among which are Mustafa Centre, Basement 1 of Tampines Mall, and Geylang Serai Market and Food Centre.

There were 383 new cases announced today, the updates of which you can check here.

Mustafa Centre visited on 4 Jun

A case visited Mustafa Centre on Thursday (4 Jun), from 3-4pm. Currently, only the supermarket is open.

Mustafa has been in the news several times over the past few months as many cases originated from the shopping centre popular with migrant workers.

MOH warns those who visited locations to monitor health

The other 2 new locations are Basement 1 of Tampines Mall, and Geylang Serai Market and Food Centre.

The case visited Geylang Serai Market on Friday (26 May) from 9-10.30am.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday (2 Jun), between 2.45-3.25pm, a case went to Basement 1 of Tampines Mall.

All 3 locations are located either centrally or in the East.

MOH advises anyone who visited these locations at these timings to monitor their health for the next 14 days. See a doctor if you’re not feeling well or have symptoms associated with Covid-19, such as a dry cough, loss of sense of taste or smell, and fever.

MOH clarifies that there’s no need to avoid these places as they’ll be cleaned appropriately. The only cause for concern is for those who already visited these places at the same time as the infected.

While we’re out of the ‘Circuit Breaker’, there are still unlinked community cases around. We should definitely minimise our trips outdoors and stagger grocery runs to avoid peak hours.
