ASUS Zenbook 14 has up to 29-hour battery life & weighs from 1.2kg, comes with 3 months’ free Google AI Pro

New ASUS Zenbook 14 now available in Singapore at S$3,499

Carrying your laptop everywhere can be taxing on your arms and back, especially if it’s on the heavier side. Not only can it feel like an unintended workout, but even the slightest knock or scratch can leave a permanent reminder of that one time you got a little careless.

However, the new ASUS Zenbook 14, which became available in Singapore on 16 Oct, promises powerful productivity features in a lightweight design starting from just 1.2kg.

It also boasts added durability, thanks to its Zenbook-exclusive Ceraluminum material.

Light and durable enough for life on the go

Lugging around a 2-3kg laptop daily is one of those things you don’t realise is taking a toll on you until you find yourself increasingly drawn to reels recommending back and shoulder massages or pain relief exercises.

Shaving a kilogram or so off that weight might not seem like much, but as many weightlifters can attest, even a 1kg difference can be the deciding factor between lifting something with ease and doing so with a fair bit of huffing and puffing.

Weighing from just 1.2kg, the new ASUS Zenbook 14 is designed to make everyday commuting a little easier on your shoulders.

But light doesn’t mean fragile. The laptop features an all-metal chassis and a Ceraluminum lid, made from a high-tech material with a distinctive ceramic-like feel.

It’s also engineered to resist scratches, smudges, and everyday wear, meaning you won’t have to baby it as though you were carrying a piece of stained glass in your backpack.

Lightweight design doesn’t come at the expense of performance

Despite its lightweight build, the Zenbook 14 doesn’t compromise on performance for those looking for a portable productivity laptop.

The device comes with a choice of Intel or AMD AI-enabled processors, depending on the model.

Both versions feature 24GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a 14-inch OLED display. However, the Intel model boasts a sharper 3K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the AMD version comes with an FHD display and a 60Hz refresh rate.

There’s also an improved cooling system with a larger fan that helps keep the laptop from overheating without making too much noise.

To complement the on-the-go lifestyle it’s designed for, the device comes with a 70Wh battery that promises up to 29 hours of use, depending on usage conditions.

The longer battery life means you won’t have to constantly worry about whether your power bank is topped up or deal with that awkward moment of asking café staff for permission to use their socket.

Available now with some extra perks

The Intel-powered ASUS Zenbook 14 is available at the ASUS Online Store and authorised retailers islandwide, priced at S$3,499.

Meanwhile, the AMD-powered version is priced at S$3,299 and is also listed at selected retailers, including Harvey Norman.

The Zenbook 14 comes in two colours, Arctic Blue and Komodo Coral, allowing users to add a little personality to their everyday devices.

ASUS is also offering eligible Zenbook 14 customers three months of Google AI Pro at no extra cost, redeemable through the MyASUS app.

This gives customers expanded access and higher usage limits for Google’s Gemini models, along with 5TB of cloud storage.
