PAZZION hosting 6km walk-and-run on 3 Oct to raise awareness of clean water for children, only S$6 to join cause

Whether you are an avid runner or not, here’s a meaningful way to spend your Children’s Day weekend.

PAZZION Singapore is hosting a 6km walk-and-run event at Marina Bay Sands on 3 Oct in support of ‘Global 6K for Water’.

This event is hosted to support World Vision Singapore, a global humanitarian organisation devoted to helping the most vulnerable children across Africa and Asia.

Participants can take part in a 6km journey through Marina Bay to be a voice for children and support their access to clean water.

The registration fee for the event is S$6.

Walk, jog and run through Marina Bay in support of clean water for children

Held at the Marina Bay Sands Waterfront Promenade, the walk-and-run event begins at 8am on 3 Oct.

Participants can choose to walk, jog or run the symbolic 6km route through the Marina Bay waterfront.

PAZZION Singapore said that the distance reflects the average journey many children make each day to collect water that is often unsafe to drink.

During the event, participants will also learn about the communities they are supporting, the challenges some children face in Africa and Asia.

Every kilometre completed brings a deeper understanding of the daily realities these children face, while also helping to bring clean and safe water to communities in need.

Upon crossing the finish line, participants can celebrate their achievements with a well-deserved post-event treat, featuring refreshments from Whittard of Chelsea Singapore, OATSIDE and Dash Water.

How to register for the event

Registration for the event opened on 14 Aug.

Each registrant will receive a personalised profile page introducing the communities and children whose lives they will transform.

Additionally, each registered participant will receive an exclusive event pack. This includes an event-exclusive T-shirt and a S$10 voucher for PAZZION stores.

As part of the early-bird registration, the first 200 participants will receive a goodie bag worth S$90, featuring PAZZION merchandise, shopping vouchers and gifts from participating brand partners such as ELIXIR by Shiseido, Tily Tea and Amazin’ Grace.
