A motorcyclist narrowly avoided being crushed after he was rear-ended by a Honda SUV driver on Yio Chu Kang Road at around 7.40am on 21 Oct.
The Honda driver managed to stop, but not before running over the motorcycle, trapping it under the hood.
In a video posted on the Facebook group SGRV ADMIN, the camcar is seen waiting for the green light at a junction along Yio Chu Kang Road.

A while later, vehicles from the left side of the cross-intersection began turning right into the road opposite the camcar.
One motorcyclist drives slowly as he moves towards the right lane.
The rider looks behind him as he enters the lane, just as a Honda SUV driver rear-ends his motorcycle.

The impact knocks the motorcycle and its rider down.
While the motorcycle goes under the hood of the car, the driver appears to have only been pushed aside.
However, the rider remains lying on the road as the driver and a passenger step out of the car to check on him.

Just as the camcar moves forward, the Honda driver re-enters his vehicle, presumably to move his car backwards.
