A customer has taken to TikTok to share his frustration after claiming he received less tuna poke than expected despite paying extra for it.
In a video posted on 29 April, @iamcalebtay asked whether he had been short-changed by Poke Theory Singapore after purchasing an additional serving of tuna poke for S$5.
In the caption, he asked if living in Singapore is really expensive now or whether @Poke Theory SG short-changed him?
The video then showed the Original Poster (OP) weighing the extra portion of tuna that he purchased. According to the OP, the add-on was supposed to be 50g.
“Does this look like 50g of poke? Omg. This was S$5 for extra tuna poke,” said the text overlay in the clip.
To verify his claims, the OP used a weighing scale and went through the process on camera.
After zeroing the scale, he placed the tuna into a bowl, ensuring that all the pieces were accounted for.

“Okay, so that it’s fair… but look at this… it’s 39g,” he said, before adding more scraps from the container.
Even after including everything, the final weight came up to 43g, still short of the promised 50g.

“So, it’s 43g. Okay, but still, I think it’s super expensive, andt yes, exactly, it’s not even five zero,” the OP said in the video.
The post has since sparked discussion online, with netizens expressing their views about the discrepancy.
A netizen felt that the F&B outlet “can give more but not less”, to which the OP replied that they would have posted too if they had received more tuna.
