The driver of a trailer is assisting the police with investigations after his trailer flipped over outside Pasir Panjang Terminal on Friday (21 Aug) morning.
Footage of the aftermath posted by @sgfollowsall on Instagram showed the long, heavy vehicle lying on its side across a road junction.

In another video uploaded on TikTok, it was apparent that the trailer could have been attempting to turn right into Clementi Road before tipping over.

A pair of tow trucks were at the scene, possibly to remove the vehicle.

Also present were a fire engine, an ambulance and a number of police vehicles.

The vehicles blocked two lanes of the road and the traffic junction, meaning right-turning motorists were made to travel against the flow of traffic.

In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 7.05am on 21 Aug.
It took place at the junction of West Coast Ferry Road and Harbour Drive, and involved a trailer which was believed to have self-skidded towards Clementi Road.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), which was alerted at the same time, told MS News that one person suffered minor injuries.
The individual was assessed by SCDF but declined to be sent to the hospital.
Additionally, a 56-year-old male trailer driver is assisting with police investigations, which are ongoing.
