A van driver was sent to the hospital in the early hours of Sunday (23 Aug) morning after his van flipped on its side during an accident with a car in Geylang.
The driver of the car was arrested for drink driving and driving without a valid licence, the police said.

Photos shared in a Facebook group for private-hire drivers showed the van lying on its right side in the middle of a road junction along Geylang Road.
Nearby was a car that appeared to have suffered damage to its front section.
A group of men were seen trying to flip the van back on its wheels.

The original poster (OP) said in his caption that the men did not manage to push the van back as it was still on its side when he returned to the scene.
He also saw police officers directing traffic.
In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 3.30am on 23 Aug.
It took place at the junction of Guillemard Road and Geylang Road, and involved a car and a van.
A 54-year-old male van driver was sent to the hospital in a conscious state.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), which was alerted at the same time, told MS News that he was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Additionally, a 34-year-old male car driver was arrested for drink driving and driving without a valid licence.
His 31-year-old male passenger was arrested for permitting a person to drive without a valid licence.
Police investigations are ongoing.
