A 27-year-old van driver was arrested on Friday (14 Aug) night after being involved in a four-vehicle accident in Bukit Panjang.
A photo of the aftermath, posted in a Telegram chat group for motorists, showed a motorcycle crushed between a car and a van.

Footage shared by @sgfollowsall on Instagram, recorded by a passing motorcyclist, showed that the van was facing against the flow of traffic in the far-right lane.
It appeared to have crashed head-on into the red car, sandwiching the motorcycle between the two vehicles.

Farther behind was a black car that had also stopped in the far-right lane, with another TP officer talking to people in front of it.

In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 8.55pm on 14 Aug.
It took place along Bukit Panjang Road in the direction of Bukit Panjang Ring Road, and involved two cars, a van and a motorcycle.
Two people sustained minor injuries and declined to be conveyed to the hospital.

After the accident, two e-vaporisers and three pods were found in the van and seized, SPF said.
The 27-year-old male van driver was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.
The vape-related offence has been referred to the Health Sciences Authority.
Police investigations are ongoing.
