MOH is still awaiting the results of 49 suspected cases. Meanwhile, 164 cases have tested negative thus far.

Health authorities are also conducting contact tracing for the confirmed cases. All close contacts will be quarantined for 14 days.

The ministry also said,

There is currently no evidence of community spread in Singapore.

Hope our precautionary measures will help curb the spread soon

As the number of new cases rises day by day, Singaporeans should continue practising good hygiene and seek medical treatment immediately should they feel unwell.

Meanwhile, we hope the precautionary measures put in place by the government, will eventually bear fruit and help curb the spread of the virus in Singapore.
