Spanish restaurants across S’pore have free tapas, S$9 dishes & 15% off groceries for 2 weeks only

Eat Spain Drink Spain returns with tapas deals, Spanish brunches, and grocery discounts

It’s no secret that Singapore is home to a rich landscape of international cuisines, and Spanish food is very much part of the mix.

But with so many tapas bars and Iberian-inspired menus out there, it can be hard to know which ones are the real deal.

One useful marker is the Restaurants from Spain (RFS) certification, awarded to establishments that meet official standards for authentic cuisine, ingredients, and the overall dining experience.

Their teams also receive specialised training in Spanish gastronomy and wines, giving diners greater confidence that they’re getting a genuinely Spanish experience without actually needing to hop on a plane to Europe.

This year, 15 restaurants in Singapore have been conferred the coveted certification, and the occasion is being celebrated alongside the return of Eat Spain Drink Spain.

Running from 1 to 15 Sept, the gastronomy campaign brings more than 30 food and drink experiences to restaurants, grocers, and retailers across the island, with more than 40 food and beverage partners involved.

Deal-conscious diners, in particular, have plenty to look out for.

Think complimentary tapas, grocery discounts, and tapas lunches that work out to as little as S$9 per dish.

Tapas deals from free plates to S$9 dishes

If you’re fond of tapas, small Spanish dishes traditionally enjoyed with drinks, you’re in for a treat because they arguably come with some of the best bargains during Eat Spain Drink Spain.

At Tapas 24, diners get one complimentary tapas dish with every bottle ordered from the wine list from 1 to 15 Sept. There are 20 options to choose from, including Jamón Ibérico and Gambas al Ajillo.
