Hong Kong (HK) singer Pakho Chau recently enjoyed his time as a tourist in Singapore, even posing as if he was “drinking” from the Merlion.
He then met up with a crowd of enthusiastic local fans and performed a concert for them.

Mr Chau, a Cantopop singer and actor, arrived in Singapore from Sydney for a special fan meeting concert scheduled for 5 Sept.
In his free time on 3 Sept, he became a tourist instead, mingling with crowds at Merlion Park.
Of course, no tourist trip is complete without the classic pose of drinking from the Merlion’s spout of water, which Mr Chau gladly indulged in.

On 4 Sept, he showed up for a drink promotion with the Chinese milk tea chain Chagee at one of its outlets in Chinatown.
A massive crowd of excited fans swarmed the streets outside, eager for a photograph with the star.

He thanked everyone and said he would see them at the fan meeting concert in Sentosa the next day.
The event took place at 7.30pm at the Resorts World Convention Centre.

Mr Chau’s fans packed the function room, cheering their idol on the stage.
During the concert, he even walked directly into the crowd as he sang. Eager fans cheered and clasped their hands as he passed by.

“Thank you, Singapore. You were great! Did you enjoy it?” Mr Chau wrote on Xiaohongshu after his event.
The HK star will be headed for Guangzhou, China, as the next stop on his fan meeting tour.
