Woman slaps man she doesn’t know after breaking into his home

A 54-year-old woman in Japan was arrested after allegedly entering a stranger’s home and slapping him across the face in the early hours of the morning.

According to Kagoshima Chuo Police Station, the incident took place at around 6.10am on 6 May in Kagoshima City.

Man calls police after finding unknown woman inside home

Police said the suspect, a self-proclaimed company employee living in the Inari-cho area, allegedly entered the residence of a man in his 20s whom she did not know.

Shocked by the unexpected intrusion, the victim reportedly called emergency services and said, “There is a woman I don’t know in my house.”

Shortly after, the woman allegedly slapped him across the face.

Woman arrested at scene after alleged assault

Police confirmed that the assault happened before officers arrived at the scene.

The woman was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assault.

Fortunately, the victim did not suffer any further physical injuries.

Police also confirmed there were no signs of theft or property damage inside the home.

Suspect admits to slapping victim

During questioning, the woman reportedly admitted to the allegation.

 

There is no mistake that I struck him with an open hand,” she told investigators.

Authorities confirmed that the suspect and victim had no prior relationship.

Police are now investigating how the woman managed to enter the residence, as well as her motive for the alleged assault.
