Trail of poop left outside Jurong Point roadshow
An unexpected trail of poop was discovered inside Jurong Point shopping mall, leaving many netizens appalled and sparking debates online.
Reddit user u/mingz shared the photo on the subreddit ‘SingaporeRaw’ today (25 Nov), though it is unclear when the photo was taken. The user claimed the incident to be recent.
Poop trail stretches for metres, smeared in parts
The photo shows a long trail of small faeces stretching across several metres of the mall floor.
Some were scattered in clumps, while others were spaced apart, with parts of the poop smeared, possibly from being stepped on or moved.
According to the OP, the trail was located near a roadshow exhibition on the first floor of Jurong Point, close to a McDonald’s outlet.
Chairs were placed around the area to cordon it off and prevent accidents.
Netizens debate whether culprit was human or pet
The unsightly trail sparked disgust and speculation among netizens.
Some sympathised with the cleaner uncles and aunties who would have to deal with the mess.
One commenter likened it to “landmine laying” on the floor and recalled a similar incident at Orchard MRT station, sarcastically dubbing it a piece of “genius artwork”.
Another suggested that the culprit might be an untrained pet, analysing the size and spacing of the faeces.
However, a user argued that pets are not legally allowed in most shopping malls in Singapore.
The original commenter retorted that someone who neglects to clean up after their pet is unlikely to follow other rules either.
MS News has reached out to the OP for more information.
