Comments on Facebook gave us something to chew on in midst of terror reports
On 20th Jan, The Straits Times reported the arrest of 27 Bangladeshis under the Internal Security Act.
Many took to social media to express shock and fear at what had been discovered.
But there were also heartfelt posts thanking the Internal Security Department for their quick action.
Hidden in the midst of these comments were a few surprising insights from ordinary Singaporeans. They remind us that while we vigilance is key, we should also treat migrant workers with love and respect.
We need to present a united front against terrorism with Bangladeshi workers.
