Singapore driver calls Donald Trump an ‘idiot’ with LED panel at back of vehicle
A driver in Singapore shared their rather unfiltered thoughts about United States (US) President Donald Trump via an LED panel mounted at the back of their vehicle.

The incident was shared on Instagram by @sgfollowsall on Sunday (10 May), in a video that was reportedly submitted by a follower.
The caption accompanying the post questioned: “Wow is this legal?”
Animated message includes angry emojis
In the video, a black vehicle could be seen displaying a series of messages directed at Trump on the LED panel.
The messages, written in capital letters for maximum emphasis, included “F*** Trump”, “Idiot Trump”, and “Trump sucks”.

Animated emojis, including a middle finger, an angry face, and a swearing face, also appeared alongside the text.
Inaudible comments and laughter could be heard in the background, presumably from the person who filmed the clip.
Netizens amused by car’s LED panel
The bold display quickly caught the attention of netizens, with the clip drawing amused and curious reactions online.
One netizen said they did not see anything wrong with “telling [the] truth”.

Another Instagram user guessed that the driver may have been upset over rising petrol costs.

Meanwhile, one commenter asked how they could get their hands on a similar LED panel, perhaps for their own on-the-road commentary.

LED panels may not be allowed on vehicles
According to the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) OneMotoring website, decorative lamps are among the vehicle modifications that are not allowed.
These include wiper washer LEDs, undercarriage neon lights, vehicle-interior neon lights, and flashing decorative lights, which LTA says may distract and disorient other road users.
