Police hunt for man after alleged iron pipe attack and stall rampage in Johor Bahru
Police are searching for a man who allegedly threatened a customer with an iron pipe before driving a Singapore-registered Mercedes-Benz into tables and chairs at a porridge stall in Johor Bahru (JB).
The incident took place at around 2am on Monday (28 Sept) at a popular porridge stall in Taman Sentosa.
Footage posted on Facebook shows the driver of a white hatchback crashing into tables and chairs at the stall as onlookers watched.

Later in the clip, the driver appeared to launch a second charge at the stall before leaving the scene.
Suspect attempted to hit victim with iron pipe
Johor Bahru South police chief Assistant Commissioner Azrul Hisham Mohd Shaffei said a 41-year-old technician lodged a report at 2.27am.

According to the complainant, the suspect got out of a car while he was eating at the stall and allegedly swung an iron pipe at him.
The complainant managed to avoid the blow.
Driver allegedly crashed into stall furniture before fleeing
Police said members of the public stepped in to calm the situation.
The suspect, who was allegedly intoxicated, returned to his vehicle and then drove recklessly, crashing into tables and chairs at the stall before leaving the scene.
Authorities working to locate him
Police are investigating the case for dangerous driving, which carries a maximum jail term of six months, a fine of up to RM2,000 (around S$625), or both, upon conviction.

The case is also being investigated for voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous means with an attempt to commit the offence.
ACP Azrul Hisham said officers are currently working to locate the suspect and have urged anyone with information to contact Johor Bahru South district police headquarters at 07-218 2323.
