Alex Albon & Twice’s Tzuyu to make appearances at free Williams F1 Fan Zone at Marina Square

Marina Square’s Williams F1 Fan Zone has race simulators, exclusive merch, and appearances by Alex Albon and Twice’s Tzuyu

With the Singapore Grand Prix just days away, the city is already starting to feel like one giant F1 paddock.

If you’re hoping to get a little closer to the action before the cars hit the Marina Bay Street Circuit, the Atlassian Williams F1 Team has brought its Fan Zone back to Singapore.

From now till 13 Oct, fans can come up close and personal with an F1 show car, enjoy racing-themed activities, exclusive merch, and more.

In the lead-up to the race weekend, Williams driver Alex Albon and Team Principal James Vowles, as well as Twice member Tzuyu, are all set to make appearances at the free event at Marina Square.

Catch Alex Albon, Tzuyu, and James Vowles at Marina Square

First up is Albon, who will appear at the Fan Zone on Wednesday (7 Oct) at 8.30pm.

The Thai-British driver’s stop in Singapore is especially fitting, as Williams considers the Singapore Grand Prix his honorary home race.

And with the race weekend running from 9 to 11 Oct, his appearance also lands just before things properly heat up under the Marina Bay lights.

So, if seeing Albon from the grandstands isn’t quite close enough, this is your chance to catch him before he swaps the mall for the cockpit.

The star power continues the next day, although this time it comes from a rather different corner.

Tzuyu of K-pop powerhouse Twice will make an appearance on 8 Oct at 11.30am, as part of Williams’ ongoing crossover with anime series ‘DAN DA DAN’.

The star is lending her voice to the official theme song for the Williams x DAN DA DAN collaboration.

The track and an accompanying music video are slated for release in early 2027 ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix.

Yes, that means Formula 1, anime, and K-pop are all colliding during Singapore race week.

Then, bringing things firmly back to the racing, Williams Team Principal Vowles will round out the day with an appearance at 6.30pm on the same day.

For more dedicated F1 fans, it’s a chance to hear from the man leading the nine-time Constructors’ Championship-winning team just before one of the most anticipated weekends on the calendar gets underway.

That gives fans three rather different reasons to swing by Marina Square: a Formula 1 driver gearing up for his honorary home race, one of K-pop’s biggest stars entering the Williams universe, and the team boss himself, all within the space of about 24 hours.

See an F1 show car, try a haul truck simulator, and shop exclusive merch

Even if your schedule doesn’t line up with the guest appearances, there’s still plenty going on throughout the Fan Zone event.

Visitors can check out Williams’ FW48 livery alongside a full-scale show car, while the team’s ‘Initial D’ and ‘DAN DA DAN’ collaborations will also feature around the space.

Singapore-exclusive merchandise from both crossovers will be available there for the first time.

There’s some slightly unexpected machinery to try, too. You can get behind the controls of a Komatsu haul truck simulator.

Not quite an F1 car, admittedly, but still a fun detour from the usual race simulators.

Collectors can also pick up a Singapore special-edition Williams x Marvel comic, one of seven unique covers being released over the 2026 season.

Of course, Williams’ official team kit and special-edition Singapore merch will be available as well.
