These Atas Avocado Toast Sneakers Remind S’poreans Of Pandan Cake Instead

Pandan Cake Sneakers Available At Saucony Online Store

Folks from other countries may rave about soufflé or tiramisu cakes all day long. But true Singaporeans stay loyal to pandan cakes.

If you happen to be a pandan cake lover, we have some good news for you.

Saucony, an American shoe company recently launched sneakers inspired by avocado toasts.

But if you’re Singaporean, this may remind you of something else altogether.

Catch the drift already?

Got chilli flakes also

Aptly named Men’s Shadow 6000 Avocado Toast, these Saucony sneakers are inspired by every hipster’s staple dish — avocado on toast.

These sneakers sport a texturised green upper and a brown suede midsole — colours which will remind you of freshly baked pandan chiffon cakes from Singapore bakeries.

The collars also have subtle red pepper details for that extra hint of spice.

Available online at S$175

These avocado sneakers are now available at S$175 (US$130) on Saucony’s online store.

However, Saucony doesn’t ship them to Singapore. So if you are thinking of snagging a pair, you’ll have to engage a courier yourself, or ask a friend in the States to bring it back on your behalf.

We’ve also reached out to Saucony to enquire if these sneakers will be available in Singapore.

Not the first food-related shoes from Saucony

This isn’t the first time that Saucony has launched food-related shoes.

Back in 2014, Saucony released a burger sneaker featuring panels that reflect condiments and toppings commonly found in burgers.

Needless to say, folks over at Saucony must be quite the foodies themselves.

Get these if you’re a pandan lover

If you’re a pandan lover, or know of anyone else who die-die must have pandan cakes for their birthdays, grab one of these sneakers before they are sold out.
