Free Curry Puff Flavoured Potato Chips From Old Chang Kee
Old Chang Kee surprised Singaporeans last week when they announced that they were blending the popular flavours of their famous Curry’O with the crunchiness of potato chips.
Today, 100 packets of potato chips will be given out at 10 different outlets across the nation, giving you a chance to get a first taste, completely FOC.
Tastes like curry puff crust
The Curry Puff Flavour Potato Chips are apparently made from mostly the same ingredients used to make the Curry’O Puff, which is a Singapore favourite.
According to a lucky netizen who’s already tried the chips, these chips taste like real curry puff crust. The netizen also noted that it is not very spicy, which is suitable for people who can’t really take spicy food.
Where to get the free chips
Each packet of chips normally costs $1.20 but would be made free for the public at 10 Old Chang Kee outlets for one day, 20 Sep.
The 10 participating Old Chang Kee outlets are:
- Bugis Junction
- Changi Airport T3
- Chinatown Heritage Centre
- Jurong Point
- NEX
- Singpost Centre
- Suntec City
- Toa Payoh Hub
- Velocity@Noevna Square
