Deel’s Social Media Nomad Gets Paid S$4K Monthly For Creating Content While Travelling
As travel restrictions are being lifted, many of us are dying to gear up and head off to our dream destinations.
However, we do have our personal restrictions, such as time and money. After all, to most of us workers out there, how many annual leaves can we take to realise our dreams of travelling to different countries?
But what if you were being paid S$4,000 (NZ$5,000) monthly just to create content while travelling?
It is no flight of fancy, as HR solutions company Deel is looking for content creators that could potentially be their “Social Media Nomad”.
Deel’s Social Media Nomad job involves six months of travel
In a press release on 28 Sep, Deel said they’re looking to hire a Social Media Nomad, and applications are now open.

However, not everyone is going to make the cut as they have a set of eligibility criteria. The job opening is for those who have over three years of experience as content creators or brand ambassadors and are able to speak and write in English.
They will be spending six months travelling in a fully-furnished van touring the Down Under, namely Australia and New Zealand.
The job scope involves creating content about their travels and remote work experience.
Only one applicant will be chosen as Deel’s Social Media Nomad.
All expenses will be paid for by Deel
For that one lucky person, the entire cost of the trip, including meals, housing, and WiFi, will be covered by the company.
They’ll be looking at a payout of S$4,000 monthly while living the nomadic lifestyle.
If you manage to land the role, you can expect to visit cities in Wellington, Sydney, and the great Uluru.
