Woman in India miraculously survives water tank falling on top of her

A woman in Surat, India, escaped death in a shocking accident after a water tank fell directly onto her while she was eating an apple in a narrow street.

Incredibly, she emerged from the incident completely unharmed.

According to Daily Mail, the accident took place on 5 Oct.

In the video footage capturing the scene, the woman can be seen crossing a street while munching on an apple.

Suddenly, a large water tank plummets from above, completely obscuring her from view as it crashes down.

Nearby, a man who witnessed the accident quickly rushed to her aid.

Moments later, the woman popped her head out of the tank’s opening, appearing unharmed.

Both of them looked up, bewildered, to see where the tank had fallen from, with the man raising his hand in frustration.

The unexpected scene soon drew a crowd of passers-by, who wanted to see if the woman needed any help.

However, she was seemingly fine, and even continued eating her apple.

Incident follows temple donation, locals call it ‘divine protection’

Netizens were both amused and amazed by the sight, with some joking that maybe Bollywood is real after all.

“I think Bollywood ain’t exaggerating their scene,” one said. “What cartoon is this?” asked another, adding crying emojis.

According to Daily Mail, the woman had just returned from morning prayers at a local temple, where she made a charitable donation.

The tank had accidentally fallen when a scrap collector clearing items from the terrace above accidentally knocked it over.
