Drivers stop and rescue toddler who was walking alone on road in Malaysia
In a heartwarming clip shared on Reddit, numerous cars in Malaysia were seen slowing down as they spotted a toddler walking on the road alone.
Based on the timestamp and coordinates in the footage, the incident occurred in Sarawak, Malaysia on Wednesday (30 Oct).
Upon noticing the unaccompanied toddler strolling on the road, a white car promptly halted next to him.
The camcar followed suit, slowing down and signalling to vehicles behind him to do the same.
At least six cars and two motorcycles stopped to rescue the toddler.
Towards the end of the clip, a lady was seen carrying the toddler in her arms while seemingly searching for the house that the child came from.
Redditors touched by heartwarming scene
Redditors took to the comment section to praise the drivers who stopped and helped the toddler.
“Faith in humanity restored for 30 minutes,” one Redditor joked.
Some also attested to the ‘kampung spirit’ among the drivers, who rallied to rescue the child.
A few netizens also criticised the toddler’s parents for allowing their child to loiter unsupervised.
