Declared brain-dead after accident
According to Khaosod, the accident occurred on 8 Nov, just 7km from her home.
After being rushed to the hospital, doctors determined that Ying was brain-dead.
Her parents then made the difficult decision to donate her organs, honouring her life by helping others live.
Girl worked hard to support family
Ying’s family shared that she held big dreams of making merit, a significant part of Thai Buddhist culture, with the hope that her kindness would bring positive karma.
Before her death, she had joked about wanting to make enough merit to be reborn even more beautiful in her next life.
Her family also highlighted her exceptional work ethic.
Coming from a financially struggling background, Ying worked tirelessly during her school holidays, taking on part-time jobs to support her family.
She worked as a waitress at local restaurants, serving food and washing dishes to contribute financially.
In recognition of her selflessness, Khaosod reported that her school and community have come together to support her family.
School clubs and classmates have made generous donations to ease the family’s financial burdens during this difficult time.
