A customer has taken to social media after a visit to a beauty salon in Khatib allegedly left her with a facial cut, claiming the beautician blamed her instead of apologising.
The incident was shared in the Complaint Singapore Facebook group on 22 April, describing the response from the beautician as unsatisfactory.

A photo accompanying the post appeared to show a small but visible cut near the corner of her lips.
While the customer acknowledged that accidents can happen, she said she was most upset by how the situation was handled.
Beautician allegedly blamed customer for movement
Instead of apologising, the beautician allegedly shifted the blame onto her.
“She said it happened because I made a big movement,” the Original Poster (OP) wrote.

“However, I was lying down on the bed the whole time, so I don’t understand how that could have caused the scratch.”
The OP described feeling “very disappointed” with the attitude shown by the beautician.
She added that taking responsibility and offering an apology would have made a significant difference.
Netizens sympathise with customer
The post has since gained traction online, with many netizens expressing sympathy towards the OP.
Some suggested that she seek compensation or legal advice if necessary.

Others questioned how such a cut could have occurred, with one commenter saying it was “impossible” to accidentally injure that area.
The commenter then advised the OP to report the incident to the police and CASE.

A Facebook user deduced that the blade was “definitely too close” to the customer’s face for it to “cut her lip like that”.
