Yoga Inc. instructors informed of closure on 18 Sept, some customers apparently not informed
Another fitness chain in Singapore has shut down in just over a week, with Yoga Inc. suddenly closing both its studios in SAFRA Punggol and Our Tampines Hub (OTH).
In an Instagram post on Friday (18 Sept), an instructor at the Tampines branch said they were informed on that day that the studio would cease operations “with immediate effect”.

Yoga instructor’s fears came true
In the post, Ms Sunnie Aug said that given the news of the “big brands” closing, she had feared the studio she was teaching at would follow suit.
She was referring to the abrupt closure of True Fitness and True Yoga on 10 Sept, leaving both staff and customers in the lurch.
Unfortunately, her fears came true — the same thing happened to Yoga Inc., which sent a message to her and other instructors to inform them that it had ceased operations.
Customers not informed of closure
Ms Aug shared a screenshot of her schedule in her post, indicating that a full schedule of classes at OTH on Saturday (19 Sept) had all been cancelled.

One of her students said she did not know that the studio had shut down and had made her way to OTH for the 9.45am class, only to find the premises shuttered.

Many other customers were standing outside waiting, having also apparently not been informed of the closure.
