Charles Leclerc struggles in ‘Say The Word on Beat’ game
Fans of Charles Leclerc were amused after seeing the F1 driver struggle to catch up in a game of “Say The Word on Beat”.
The Ferrari racer played the game during his appearance at Ray-Ban’s Beyond The Track pop-up at CQ @ Clarke Quay on Wednesday (7 Oct).

“Someone help this poor man [sic] he is struggling,” the TikTok video’s text overlay read.
“Let’s just say God is fair,” the Original Poster (OP), @pale.nerves, also wrote in the caption.
The video began with the F1 racer at the end of the first of five levels of the game, which only gets faster as it goes.
Pop-up held in partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP
Leclerc appeared at the Ray-Ban pop-up as part of the brand’s partnership with his racing team, Scuderia Ferrari HP.
The free-admission event was one of many F1 Singapore Grand Prix promotional events ahead of the race weekend.
The pop-up showcased the Ray-Ban for Scuderia Ferrari collection. This includes two limited-edition eyewear pieces, both of which have been spotted on Leclerc.

Fans also got the chance to see the Scuderia Ferrari SF-23 Show Car and try racing simulators, testing their driving skills on the virtual Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Leclerc’s 5pm appearance drew a significant crowd, with some eager fans climbing nearby spiral stairs to get a glimpse of the 28-year-old driver.

F1 driver draws amusement from netizens
Fans online also found Leclerc having difficulty keeping up with the rhythm-based game amusing.
One netizen wrote that, for an F1 driver, he was “kinda slow” at playing the game.

Meanwhile, another excused his performance, saying all his concentration must be on the race.
