Bukit Batok resident says his cigarettes were stolen repeatedly, claims neighbour’s S$300 shoes also taken in February
A Bukit Batok resident says his cigarettes were stolen on three consecutive days this week, months after his neighbour’s S$300 shoes were allegedly taken in a separate incident.
The resident told MS News that the thefts occurred between midnight and 6am from 23 to 25 Sept.
He said the cigarettes had been left outside his home.
He also shared a video with MS News which he said shows a teenager allegedly taking items outside his unit on 11 Feb at around 9.45pm.

The resident said he discovered the items were missing afterwards and did not personally witness the alleged thefts.
Resident says cigarettes stolen daily from 23 to 25 Sept
According to the resident, his cigarettes went missing “daily” from 23 to 25 Sept, “all from 12am to 6pm”.
The cigarettes had been placed outside his home, where he said the alleged theft was captured on video.
On his TikTok account, the man refers to the teenagers who stole his items as “xiao di dis”, or younger brothers.
The resident told MS News that he had also spoken to a few neighbours staying on the same floor.
He said that his neighbour had his shoes stolen in February, but his other neighbours told him they were “not too sure” what else might have gone missing.
February incident allegedly involved neighbour’s S$300 shoes
The resident said the first incident happened on 11 Feb at around 9.45pm.
He alleged that a teenager was captured on video taking his cigarettes and lighter, and he was seen talking to another teenager.
The same duo also took his neighbour’s shoes worth S$300.

He said his neighbour had made a police report about the incident, but he did not have a copy or screenshot of the report and could not provide the report number to MS News.
Teen allegedly seen carrying large bag
The resident said the videos show the person allegedly taking the items.
He also claimed the teenager was seen “carrying a large bag when he was doing the thefts [sic]”.

He said he had approached his neighbour for CCTV footage, but was unsure whether there were other cameras covering the area.
He also told MS News that neither the police, Town Council nor other authorities had contacted him about the incidents so far.
The allegations have not been independently verified by MS News.
