Cheers opens new store at Peranakan Place with a refreshed concept and exclusive merch
There are convenience store visits, and then there are convenience store visits.
Cheers is levelling up the humble quick shopping stop with their newest outlet at Peranakan Place, which opened on Friday (14 Aug).
Designed as more than just a place to grab a drink and dash, the brand new outlet features several new experiences, including a DIY ramyeon station, a smoothie-blending machine, and an interactive AI photo booth.
There’s also a dedicated souvenir section filled with Singapore-inspired keepsakes, giving both tourists and locals plenty of fun, unique mementos to remember their visit by.
Take a break with DIY ramyeon and a fresh smoothie
With so much to see and do along Orchard Road, even the most energetic shoppers will eventually need a breather and a quick bite.
At the ramyeon station, customers can choose their preferred Korean instant noodles and customise them with toppings such as eggs, chicken breast for some added protein, chicken sausage, and more, before whipping up a piping hot bowl on the spot.
To celebrate the opening, the first 50 customers who purchase any individually packaged ramyeon will receive two complimentary drinks, while stocks last. Cup and bowl formats are excluded from the promotion.
Those looking to cool down from Singapore’s heat can also try the blend-your-own smoothie machine, where customers can whip up an instant smoothie using frozen fruit.
There are 10 flavours to choose from, with smoothies starting from S$4. Options include Strawberry Banana, Vitamin C Blast (a mix of apple, mango, strawberry, and carrot), and Detoxify, which combines spinach and pineapple.
Together, these options make the outlet a convenient refuelling stop for students, office workers, and tourists to grab a quick meal, recharge, and stock up on convenience-store essentials before getting on with their day.

Besides meals and everyday essentials, the new Peranakan Place store includes a Cheers x Alipay souvenir-bundle section for travellers seeking practical Singapore keepsakes, as well as locals looking for a playful gift or collectible.
The star of the souvenir line-up, however, is the exclusive Chilli Crab SimplyGo EZ-Link Charm, priced at S$21.90 and available in limited quantities while stocks last.
Inspired by one of Singapore’s best-known dishes, the plush red charm doubles as a functional contactless travel accessory.
It can also be clipped onto a bag, set of keys, or pouch, making it a recognisably local keepsake for tourists and an equally cute collectible for locals.
Visitors can also collect a souvenir of the digital kind at the interactive AI photo booth, which virtually dresses them in iconic Peranakan attire, making for a fitting memento of the outlet’s heritage location.

You can’t get much more Singaporean than looking out for a good deal, and the “Just Choose Lah” section at Cheers’ Peranakan Place store has one worth checking out.
Shoppers can mix and match any five participating items for S$5, with a variety of sweet and savoury snacks, as well as drinks, to choose from.
This’ll come in super handy for stocking the office snack drawer, putting together a budget-friendly late-night hotel room supper, or replenishing your personal binge-watching stash at home.
From now till 20 Aug, the store will also offer launch promotions of up to 59% off selected products. Deals include Luckin Coffee Pomelo Americano at S$2 each, Cornetto Wall’s Assorted ice cream at S$3.80 for two, and Jacob’s Creek Cabernet Sauvignon or Chardonnay at S$12.90 for two.
Other offers include the popular FairPrice Fried Chicken or Corn Cashews at S$2 each, Barebells Milkshake Assorted at S$4.80 each, and Suntory Strong Zero Assorted at S$12.90 for two, giving bargain hunters even more reason to browse before heading to the cashier.
