S’pore Exceeds 30,000 Covid-19 Cases, 4 Of 614 New Patients Are S’poreans/PRs

MOH Confirms 614 New Covid-19 Cases On 22 May, Bringing S’pore’s Total To 30,426

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed 614 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore on Friday (22 May).

Of note, 4 cases involve Singaporeans/PRs.

The bulk of remaining cases involve migrant workers who reside in dormitories.

This brings the total number of cases reported in Singapore to 30,426.

More than a third of patients have recovered so far

As of Thursday (22 May), 12,117 patients have recovered so far. This means that more than a third (~39.8%) of cases have fully recovered.

The death toll currently stands at 23, which brings Singapore’s Covid-19 death rate to 0.076%.
