Of the new cases, 14 are confirmed community infections, with 10 of them being Singaporeans or PRs.

This is a rather large leap from the past few weeks and hopefully it’s not a recurring trend.

1 new death was reported yesterday, taking the total death count to 25.

4 students & 1 non-teaching staff test positive

Separately, the Ministry of Education (MOE) confirmed that 4 students, as well as 1 non-teaching staff, are confirmed to have Covid-19. However, they were found during tests conducted since 2 Jun and are not new cases.

According to MOE, they were said to have ‘low viral loads’ and tested negative for the virus on Saturday (6 Jun).

More details about the cases will be updated when they’re released.
