Cyclist pedalling on Singapore road seemingly led to slow bus ride
A cyclist pedalling slowly on a road in Singapore seemingly agitated a bus passenger, who took to the Singapore Raw subreddit to air their frustrations.
In the post, the Redditor uploaded a 60-second clip of a cyclist pedalling leisurely on a road, directly in front of a bus they were in.
Careful not to hit the cyclist, the bus driver drove slowly behind him. This ultimately caused a hold-up and subsequent delay in the bus passengers’ travel time.
Notably, the cyclist panned his head towards the bus numerous times, seemingly aware of the vehicle trailing after him. However, he did not redirect his route to let the bus pass through.
“My bus had to drive realllllly slow,” the Redditor lamented in the accompanying caption of the post.
They added that the bus had to inch gradually during the encounter, which lasted over 10 minutes.
Redittors share OP’s frustration
Several netizens took to the comment section to express their thoughts on the incident. Most shared the OP’s frustration on the matter.
“Waste others’ time for his own leisure. Fishing selfish,” one user remarked.
Another commenter also highlighted that while the cyclist — who was wearing a helmet — did not violate any traffic law, he still showed “total disregard for other road users”.
