Stray dog presumed dead shocks rescue officers after waking up in vehicle
Rescue officers in Thailand were called to collect a dead stray dog, only to be shocked when the canine suddenly woke up in a pickup truck.
In a Facebook video on 4 Oct by Nattapol Sinpoon (name transliterated from Thai), a pair of officers covered the dog’s body with a white cloth before carrying it onto the truck bed.

However, the supposedly “dead” dog suddenly woke up, shocking the rescue team in the vehicle.

According to the Original Poster (OP), a resident called the team and notified it of a dog lying lifeless.
“The body was recovered and loaded onto the truck, but then it somehow woke back up, totally dazed. Left everyone wondering how on earth it woke up — total chaos now!” the OP wrote.
It remained unclear what had happened to the dog or why the resident had presumed it dead.
