Deliveryman caught throwing and kicking netizen’s parcel on doorcam
A deliveryman was caught on a resident’s door camera casually throwing and kicking a parcel during a delivery.
The Original Poster (OP) uploaded the 16-second footage to their TikTok on 27 Oct.
The video has garnered over 39,000 views at the time of writing.
Lack of respect for parcels
MS News contacted the OP, who requested anonymity, for more information.
The OP confirmed the incident occurred on 26 Oct at 6pm, in an HDB block at Fernvale.
They shared that the delivery service engaged was the Chinese e-commerce logistics company Cainiao.
The parcel contained a laser pointer.
While the delivery man’s actions did not cause any damage to the item, the OP felt that the man “clearly lacked respect for the parcels”.
Not a first-time offender
OP also shared with MS News that the deliveryman was “not a one-time offender”.
“He’s done this a few times to other people,” they said.
Another person apparently reached out to OP with more footage of the same deliveryman showing similar behaviour to that in the earlier video.

The additional footage also shows a deliveryman throwing a parcel at the resident’s doorstep.
Dressed in black shorts and a blue football jersey, the deliveryman in this clip resembles the one captured in the OP’s video.
Denounced by netizens
In the comments section, several netizens reacted aggressively to the deliveryman’s behaviour.

One commenter questioned why the deliveryman was still doing the job, citing his lack of care.

Another commenter replied, saying that the deliveryman seemed to look like an acquaintance of theirs.
OP replied, telling the commenter to ask their acquaintance to find a different job if he was unsatisfied with delivering parcels.
MS News has also reached out to Cainiao for more information.
