Man seen looking at photos of women on MRT, female commuters warned
On Tuesday (6 Oct), a netizen dropped a word of warning to women in Singapore who frequent the MRT system.
The Original Poster (OP) claimed that a male commuter had filmed women on the train and transferred the files afterwards.
While it is unclear where the incident occurred based on the photos available, several netizens observed that the station appeared to be Yishun.
Phone gallery had multiple photos of female commuters
In a Reddit post, the OP shared four photos from the incident.
They first spotted the stranger while on the train. He was using his phone, which displayed the photo gallery app.

On closer inspection, the gallery contained multiple photos female passers-by, along with pictures of women’s chests.
Man secretly filmed two other female commuters on the escalator
In the second photo shared the OP, the man was seen allegedly “filming” two female commuters on the escalator.

The OP claimed that the man continued to record even at the gantry points.

In the final photo, the man stood near the locality map at the MRT station while holding two phones.
The OP speculated that the man is doing a “transfer of footages” between the phones.

While the man’s intentions are unknown, the OP shared the photos as a warning for female commuters to be careful.
