Lawrence Wong says return to Temburong brought back memories
PM Wong made an official visit to Brunei from 9 to 10 Oct to commemorate 50 years of defence relations between Singapore and Brunei.
During the trip, he visited Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) servicemen training in Temburong and spoke to them about their experiences.
Describing training in its rugged terrain and demanding conditions as a “rite of passage” for generations of Singaporean soldiers, PM Wong said it had tested servicemen and pushed them to new limits.
