Hello Kitty Cushions Are Exclusive To McDonald’s Taiwan For Now
It is no secret that Singaporeans love all manner of Hello Kitty & Sanrio merch.
Remember when My Melody holders had many fans queuing early in the morning at McDonald’s outlets islandwide?
But if you think those holders are cute, brace yourself for what’s to come.
McDonald’s Taiwan recently released adorable Hello Kitty cushions in 4 safari animal hoodie designs that are oh-so-huggable.
Hello Kitty gets a safari makeover
Hello Kitty has been given a drastic makeover in McDonald’s Taiwan outlets islandwide.
She will first disguise herself as a green-spotted crocodile and a pastel grey hippo from 15 May.
From 22 May, she’ll transform into a pink flamingo and a menacing adorable lion.
Each Hello Kitty cushion will feature her signature cat ears hidden by the hoodie, but we absolutely adore the ribbon that perfectly complements each animal.
Themed after animals in the wild, hugging one of these cushions snugly will make you feel like you’re in the Savannah, while in the comfort of your own homes or offices.
Exclusive to Taiwan McDonald’s for now
If you’re psyched up and ready to queue for these kawaii cushions, we’re sad to say a release date hasn’t been confirmed for Singapore yet.
According to McDonald’s Singapore, the promotion is exclusive to McDonald’s Taiwan for now.
They’ll be dropping in all McDonald’s Taiwan outlets for S$13.15 (NT$299) each.
For Sanrio fans, perhaps this is the time for a last minute Taiwan shopping trip soon?
Otherwise, you can also get your friends to dabao them back for you, or post a request on Airfrov.
But for now, let’s keep our fingers crossed that McDonald’s will fulfill the wishes of Sanrio fans in Singapore as well!
