We’ve been obsessed with McDonald’s My Melody holders and sleepwear. So, we bet long-time fans will be happy to know that they can get McMarried too.
McDonald’s Hong Kong outlets let couples host wedding parties from S$528 ($2,999 HKD) to S$1761 (HK$9,990).
The fast food chain’s wedding parties feature balloons, games and happy meals.
In a viral video, Youtuber Safiya Nygaard gave fans a behind-the-scenes look of wedding parties that will reignite your child-like love for the brand.

As a part of her East Asia series, Youtuber Safiya Nygaard hosted a wedding party in Hong Kong to explore the unique nuptials.
The festivities begin with friendly hosts welcoming the guests.
Weddings are a formal celebration and the fast food chain attempts to mimic it with balloon bouquets and boutonnieres for the bride and groom.
As children, we’ve looked forward to Happy Meals served in parties. The adult version is toasting to the bride and groom with sweet teas and soft drinks.

Time for the wedding ceremony. The host asks the bride and groom to exchange their wedding rings.
Safiya commissioned a balloon ring with a large white rubber balloon atop 4 gold smaller balloons that was previously offered by the fast food chain.
We’ve seen couples chew opposite ends of the noodle for a kiss in animated movies. At the wedding party in McDonald’s Hong Kong, the kiss is done with a piece of French fry instead.
Chinese weddings usually have couples link arms and drink wine so McDonald’s wedding parties don’t miss this. Although instead of wine, couples drink orange Fanta.
Ever wished you could get a slice of the wedding cake? McDonald’s has got you covered with a stack of Apple Pie boxes shaped like a big cake.
Surprisingly, the couple was asked to eat the apple pie while their arms were linked. Like a real marriage, this tests the couple’s ability to work together.

McDonald’s typically has a lot of games at kid’s parties and it offers the same festivities for weddings too.
The game ‘love bombs’ pairs up guests and lets them hold each other’s hands to form a hoop. Afterward, the couple has to throw the balloon into the hoop while guests catch it with their elbows.
If the instructions seem weird to you, then you’re not alone. Safiya’s team hopelessly tried to catch the balloons but they did have the happiest time of their lives.
The ‘love hoops’ requires couples to throw hoops on their friend’s bodies like a human ring toss.

A wedding isn’t complete without souvenirs and this package comes with McDonald’s personalized thank-you cards and McDonald’s keepsake tumblers.
You can then have picture-taking sessions to document and remember the joyous occasion.

The Happiness Party starts from $528 ($2,999 HKD), which includes basic audio equipment and an emcee.
For her video, Safiya opted for The Love Forever Party is worth S$1761 ($9,990 HKD), which features balloon wedding rings and decoration, guest favors, an apple pie cake and an emcee.
