Both parties have lodged police reports, and the authorities are investigating both cases, Perak police chief Alwi Zainal Abidin said.
Headmaster allegedly sent ‘I love you’ text to teen student
The incident allegedly began with text messages the secondary school headmaster had sent to a 15-year-old student, Sin Chew Daily reported.
One message purportedly read “I love you” — a phrase also mentioned in the circulating clip.
After discovering the messages, the angry mother went to confront the headmaster.

Mother and headmaster lodge police reports
According to a Malay Mail report, the student’s mother lodged a police report on Saturday (24 Oct).
Authorities are investigating the case under Section 15(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 (non-physical sexual assault against a child).
The following day, the 56-year-old principal also filed a separate report, claiming the student’s family members had assaulted him.

The case is being investigated as alleged assault under Section 323 of the Penal Code (voluntarily causing hurt), and alleged misuse of network facilities under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
“We will conduct a detailed investigation into both matters, particularly as the case involves a civil servant,” Mr Alwi said, according to Free Malaysia Today.
Headmaster transferred amid probe
On Sunday, Malaysian Education Minister Datuk Seri Fadhlina Sidek also ordered the Perak Education Department to investigate the accusations against the headmaster.
The headmaster has subsequently been transferred to the Bagan Datuk district education office until the investigation concludes.
