Ng Chee Meng impressed by youth organising event
Mr Ng said that what impressed him the most was how the Jalan Kayu youth took the lead in organising the event.
From planning the games to setting up the haunted houses and running the event, they’ve put in so much effort to make it a great success.

Volunteers from Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), YouthCare, and the Jalan Kayu Youth Network worked hard to organise the Halloween Horror Night.
Mr Ng praised them and extended a warm invitation for other like-minded youths to join the Jalan Kayu Youth Network.
Desmond Lee & Hany Soh also attended Halloween night events
West Coast-Jurong West MP Desmond Lee similarly attended a West Coast Halloween Night event on 24 Oct.
He opted out of dressing up for the Asian horror-themed event, but took plenty of photos as he mingled with the residents.

Meanwhile, Lam Pin Min, who lost the Sengkang vote in the 2025 General Election, attended the Anchorvale CC Halloween event dressed as a doctor with his white coat and stethoscope.
“Haha, essentially playing my real-life role! Perhaps the least imaginative costume of the evening, but certainly the most authentic!” Dr Lam laughed.
