24-year-old male pedestrian sent to hospital after accident with car in Jurong West
A 24-year-old male pedestrian was sent to the hospital last Saturday (26 Sept) morning after being involved in an accident with a car in Jurong West.
A photo of the aftermath posted by SG News Warehouse Sale & Events on Facebook showed the car stopped on a pedestrian crossing along Jurong West Street 71.

Car stops after Jurong West traffic junction
According to the image, the bluish-silver car had stopped just after a junction and on the left lane of the two-lane road, in front of Block 703.
It was also diagonally opposite Pioneer Mall.

A police motorcycle and police car were at the scene, with two police officers seen standing next to the car.
Car said to have hit pedestrian in Jurong West
In a screenshot of a conversation posted by the Facebook account, a witness claimed that the car had hit a pedestrian along Jurong West Street 71.
The injured pedestrian was then sent to the hospital in an ambulance.

24-year-old pedestrian conveyed conscious to NUH
In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 10.40am on 26 Sept.
It took place at the junction of Jurong West Avenue 4 and Jurong West Street 61, which is on the opposite side of the junction from Street 71, and involved a car and a pedestrian.
A 24-year-old male pedestrian was sent to the hospital in a conscious state.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), which was alerted at the same time, told MS News that he was conveyed to the National University Hospital (NUH).
Additionally, a 38-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
