Plaza Singapura Celebrates 45th Anniversary With Dessert Museum Pop-Up
Singaporeans who have a sweet tooth now have a new way to enjoy their sugary treats, but not necessarily with their taste buds.
In conjunction with its 45th anniversary, Plaza Singapura will be organising a series of sweet dessert-themed activities.

That’s not all, the popular shopping centre will also be debuting the first The Dessert Museum interactive pop-up outside Manila, the Philippines, from 4 to 27 Oct.
Massive doughnuts, ice cream & gummy bears at Plaza Singapura
Have you ever wondered what Homer Simpson’s treasured donuts will look like IRL? Find out for yourself as you enter the Donut Room — probably made out of Homer’s wildest dreams.
Now, you’ll get the chance to go on a bubblegum pink slide as gigantic sprinkled donuts “rain” down from the ceiling.

There’s even a bright yellow umbrella for you to pose with for the ‘gram.
Rooms where you can snack
For a real sweet treat, head to the Ice Cream Room where you can enjoy a refreshing popsicle or ice cream.
You can also get on a life-sized hot air balloon that’s shaped like an ice cream cone and float away on your sugar high.

Christmas comes early in the Candy Cane Room, where you can decide for yourself whether you’ve been naughty or nice.

You can relive your childhood by playing on the swings or the candy cane see-saw with a friend. All whilst you snack on a blueberry or strawberry macaroon.

Treats for the whole family
The shopping mall will also be hosting The Dessert Carnival with popular game stalls like the Ring Toss, Lobster Pot, Basketball, and many more.
For families with younger children, there will be fun hands-on workshops that lets you bake and make candies.
Also, keep a look out for the colourful ‘Lorrypop’ that will make its way around Singapore from 16-23 Sep.
The Lorrypop will be bringing all things dessert around the island. Those who are lucky can also stop by to savour these special treats.
Celebrating 45 years of memories
Many of us grew up with Plaza Singapura, regardless of which generation we belong to.
