Singaporeans among suspects in Thailand sex trafficking syndicate
Thai police have dismantled a transnational prostitution network accused of recruiting Thai women and sending them to Singapore for sex work.
The investigation involved close cooperation between Thailand’s Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) and the Singapore Police Force (SPF).
Authorities identified five alleged members of the network.
This included two Singaporean men aged 46 and 42 who were arrested on 15 Sept.
Network allegedly operated 7th Heaven websites
The investigation began after SPF’s Specialised Crime Branch shared information with Thailand’s Technology Crime Suppression Division about an online prostitution network sending Thai women to Singapore.
Thai investigators then linked the operation to a network called Lover’s Fortress, which allegedly used websites named 7th Heaven and 7th Heaven 2 to facilitate its activities.
Police also traced financial transactions they believed were linked to prostitution proceeds.

According to SPF, anti-vice operations conducted in Singapore between Oct 2025 and Sept 2026 led to the arrests of 19 sex workers allegedly managed by the syndicate.
Information obtained during those investigations helped authorities identify people believed to be running the operation from Thailand.
Singaporean man allegedly recruited Thai women since 2019
Thai police identified the 46-year-old Singaporean as Leow and the 42-year-old as Aaron.
During questioning, Leow allegedly admitted that he had been recruiting Thai women for sex work in Singapore since 2019, with Aaron acting as his business partner.

He told officers that the network used Telegram, LINE, and WhatsApp to advertise services, accept bookings, and communicate with clients.
At the time of his arrest, he was allegedly managing around six Thai women.
Wife allegedly handled flights and accommodation
A 37-year-old Thai woman identified as Apaporn (name transliterated from Thai), who police said is Leow’s wife, allegedly helped coordinate the operation.
She reportedly told police that she arranged agencies, airline tickets, and accommodation for Thai women travelling to Singapore, while earning commissions from differences in travel and accommodation costs.

A 35-year-old Thai man, Pongsakorn, allegedly worked as an administrator, responding to customers and editing photographs used to promote the women.
Another Thai woman, 33-year-old Nanthanee (name transliterated from Thai), was accused of providing a bank account used by the network.
However, she denied knowing that the account was connected to prostitution and denied involvement in the syndicate.
Police seize phones, computers and bank books
Searches in Rayong and Phitsanulok resulted in the seizure of 15 mobile phones, three computers and laptops, 16 bank books, 10 ATM cards, 100,000 baht (~S$3,795) in cash, and jewellery.
Thai authorities valued the seized assets at more than 350,000 baht (~S$13,283).
The five suspects face allegations including procuring people for prostitution, profiting from prostitution, advertising sexual services, money laundering, and participating in a transnational criminal organisation.
They have been handed over to investigators for further legal proceedings.
