SOSD Dog Adoption Drive On 12 May Lets You Give Dogs A Fur-Ever Home

SOSD Adoption Drive At Tanjong Pagar

Getting a pet is a serious lifetime commitment but if you’re ready to be blessed by lots of love from your furkid, mark your calendars for Sunday (12 May).

Save Our Street Dogs (SOSD), a dog welfare organisation in Singapore, is holding a one-day adoption drive from 1-5pm at Tanjong Pagar Centre.

There’ll be various breeds up for adoption that day, from young energetic puppies to more mature furry friends.

Here are 3 of the dogs you can anticipate to meet that day, and who knows, you might just find a loving doggy companion for life.

Adventurous lil’ female pup

First up, Tiara — an energetic 3-month-old black-puppy.

She has an amicable personality as she gets along well with other dogs, and also warms up quickly to both adults and children.

Being young, she is extremely adventurous with boundless energy and hence needs to be brought out often to enjoy the outdoors.

She is currently teething and will randomly chew on items, so be warned — watch out for your shoes.

You’ll be glad to know I’m pee-pad and grass-trained too!

As Tiara is still a puppy, be prepared to shower lots of love and attention on her, especially during bedtime as she doesn’t like to sleep alone.

She’ll also find out if she’s HDB-approved upon turning 6 months old.

Toy-loving black doggy

This 5-month-old pupper’s eyes may just be one of the most mesmerising things you’ll see at the drive.

Genie is a well-behaved puppy who gets along well with other dogs, and loves playing with her current foster’s dog.

However, don’t be fooled by her nice demeanor — she is a devil when it comes to toys.

Busy hoarding her toys in her bed, as usual

So do keep an eye out for any plushies you may have at home, or else you’ll see it torn apart soon enough.

Currently, she is learning to be leashed on walks, and is also undergoing pee training.

Easygoing furkid

Call out the name “Gypsy” at the dog adoption drive, and this shy 5-month-old dog may just come up to you.

Little Gypsy is currently learning commands such as her own name.

She is an extremely well-behaved dog who won’t pull on her leash during walks.

In addition, she won’t throw a fuss when left alone, but also gets along well with other dogs.

All in all, she is a well-behaved dog that would make a great addition to any family.

Dogs looking for a fur-ever home

Apart from the above 3 doggies, there are many others who are also looking for their loving homes at the drive.

So if you’re looking to adopt a dog, head on down to the adoption drive.
