StarHub’s 2-day wellness festival at New Bahru has free yoga sessions, watercolour workshops & more

StarHub’s 5G Wellness Festival returns for a bigger second edition on 12 and 13 Sept

In an age of constant updates and notifications, putting your phone down can sometimes feel easier said than done.

But for two days this September, you can swap screen time for free yoga, table tennis, hands-on workshops, live music, and more.

After making its debut last year, StarHub is bringing back its 5G Wellness Festival for a second, and bigger, edition on 12 and 13 Sept.

Held at New Bahru from 10am to 6pm, the two-day festival is free to enter, though advance registration is required for workshops.

Press pause with five different activities

Inspired by StarHub’s five 5G Wellness Pillars, the festival features five ways to take a breather, whether your idea of unwinding involves getting crafty, breaking a sweat, or simply spending time with people you care about.

Visitors can explore their botanical creativity at a Petite Garden Arrangement workshop by homegrown brand Soilboy, and leave with a little green keepsake of their own.

If sitting still is not quite your thing, work up a little friendly rivalry over a game of table tennis at TopTable.

Those who would rather flex their artistic muscles can try a hands-on watercolour workshop with Chalk N Pencils.

For something a little slower, The Hush Retreats will lead outdoor yoga sessions, giving visitors a chance to stretch out, release some tension, and be present in the moment.

There will also be live music, curated booths by homegrown brands, and interactive activities at The Lawn for those who simply want to spend some quality time with family and friends.

So whether you’re turning up solo, making it a family day out, or dragging your perpetually online friend along, there are plenty of ways to spend a few hours doing something that doesn’t involve staring at a screen.

More than two-thirds surveyed struggle to disconnect

The festival is part of StarHub’s wider ‘The Power of Pause’ digital wellbeing movement and draws on findings from its latest Digital Wellbeing study.

Conducted with YouGov in April 2026, the national survey polled 1,036 respondents in Singapore and found that more than two-thirds struggle to disconnect from their screens.

While StarHub is, of course, in the business of keeping people connected, the company also wants those connections to translate into better experiences both online and offline.

Through the festival, it hopes to encourage people to be more intentional about their relationship with technology, while making a little more room for meaningful moments away from their screens.

So, if you’re ready to give your thumbs and eyes a break, here’s how to get to the festival:
