Amid the Covid-19 outbreak in Singapore, toiling long hours in hospitals treating patients can be a tiring, thankless job.
Despite their own fear and fatigue, our healthcare heroes bravely put on their uniforms and soldier on.
Donning masks, gloves, and protective suits as their armour, they charge headlong on the battlefield, known to us as emergency rooms and hospital wards.
So imagine the elation of these healthcare workers, when people take the time to appreciate their good work. Picturing it isn’t hard, thanks to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH)’s social media team who posted a heartwarming album on Facebook.
In it, you’ll see how touched and euphoric TTSH staff are when they’re given flowers and letters of appreciation.

It looks like this lady was caught off guard by the camera, as she’s seen smiling with her hand half-covering her face. She was probably feeling shy.
