National Day is a day of unity, and Member of Parliament (MP) Tin Pei Ling demonstrated that in a selfie with opposition MPs Pritam Singh and Sylvia Lim.
She also posted photos with other colleagues while attending the National Day Parade (NDP) 2026.

The People’s Action Party (PAP) MP attended the NDP at the National Stadium this year for Singapore’s 61st birthday.

She posted a photo with her fellow MPs from Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC, wishing their residents a happy National Day.
The Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC MPs were in full attendance, with Seah Kian Peng, Diana Pang and Goh Pei Ming, along with Ms Tin, all decked out in red and white.
“Some shots with other colleagues too,” she wrote in another Facebook post, photographed from the stadium’s seats.
During the actual event itself, Ms Tin happened to sit next to Pritam Singh and Sylvia Lim from the Workers’ Party (WP).

The three politicians were all smiles as they waved their individual Singapore flags while posing for a selfie together.
Netizens cheered on their “Singapore Spirit”, saying “white and blue, we are one!”

Another user wrote that differences in political views can be set aside on Singapore’s birthday. This would allow Singaporeans to come together as “one united people”.

Ms Tin also uploaded a photo showing her with Kebun Baru MP Henry Kwek and Ang Mo Kio MP Darryl David.
They, too, matched the red-and-white colour scheme.
