Such was the case for 2 elderly men in a Bukit Batok nursing home, who tragically passed away in the absence of their families.

Seeking families to claim their remains

According to Singapore Police Force (SPF) media releases, they are appealing for the next-of-kin of the late Rahmat Salleh, 78, and the late Abdul Ghani Mohd Said, 82, to come forward and claim their remains.

Mr Rahmat had passed away last Tuesday (24 Sep) at Ng Teng Fong Hospital.

Appearing to have suffered the same fate, Mr Abdul Ghani passed on last Saturday (28 Sep) at the same place.

Both were residents of United Medicare Centre at 72, Elizabeth Drive.
