3 Gong Cha Dessert Stores Allowed To Open From 23 May Onwards
UPDATE: Gong Cha has decided to make their bubble tea available for delivery only. In an Instagram post early on Saturday (23 May) morning, Gong Cha announced that the three outlets will only accept delivery orders, and urged patrons not to come down to the stores. This is to “protect both customers and staff”, it added.
When it was announced that F&B outlets predominantly selling beverages were not allowed to reopen on 2 Jun, you could almost hear the collective heartbreak of BBT fans all around Singapore.
But BBT lovers can now patch their wounds with 3 Gong Cha sized plasters.
The popular bubble tea chain has announced that from Saturday (23 May) onwards, they will open 3 of its dessert stores.
For those who have lost track of the date, that’s TOMORROW.
3 Gong Cha outlets open for takeaway and delivery
According to their Instagram page, Gong Cha has been allowed to open 3 dessert stores for takeaway and delivery orders.
Outlets that will open are at:
- Causeway Point
- Paya Lebar Quarter
- NEX
Soufflé pancakes will be available for order, but customers should expect a 20 minute wait, as each will be freshly made on the spot.
Customers advised to observe safe distancing
Naturally, such joyous news is bound to attract hordes of boba-deficient fans.
Hence, there will be safety ambassadors onsite to facilitate with crowd management.
Gong Cha urges customers to observe proper safe distancing measures at these outlets.
Make sure you follow the rules
Should the queue become unsafe, the bubble tea chain would have no choice but to stop taking orders.
This is a travesty that we cannot let happen at all costs.
