Motorcyclist Involved In Fatal Braddell Road Accident, Family Appeals For Witnesses
2021 seems off to a bumpy start, with traffic accidents claiming multiple lives. Sometime between late Tuesday (16 Feb) and early Wednesday (17 Feb), an accident occurred on Braddell Road, causing the death of a motorcyclist.
Due to lack of information, his family took to Facebook to appeal for eyewitnesses or footage of the accident.
Fatal accident before Lor 6 Toa Payoh Flyover
According to the netizen who is a cousin of the motorcyclist, the accident took place along Braddell Road towards Bartley Road, before the Lor 6 Toa Payoh Flyover.
Here is a map display of the estimated location of the accident. Due to lack of information, the family estimates that it could have happened anytime from 11pm on Tuesday (16 Feb) to 12am – 2.20am on Wednesday (17 Feb).
Deceased motorcyclist was riding a grey Yamaha bike
According to the Facebook post, the motorcyclist was riding a dark grey Yamaha MT10 motorbike with yellow rims.
He was presumably discovered around 2.20am on Wednesday (17 Feb), and unfortunately succumbed to his injuries later in the wee hours of the morning.
Devastated family seeks closure
He was a loving father to 2 daughters and a filial son to his parents, wrote his cousin in the Facebook post.
Moreover, he was also a caring brother who was deeply loved by all in his family. Therefore, his loved ones are devastated and wish to understand what happened.
More information on the accident will also help bring closure to his family.
Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the accident are thus urged to contact the motorcyclist’s family on Facebook.
