The footage shows traffic on a narrow mountain road inside the park being obstructed by a wild elephant.
Standing on the right side of the road, the elephant curiously investigates a truck parked on the left, while vehicles queue up on both sides.
Elephant unfazed by multiple gunshots
At one point, a black sedan pulled up, and the driver rolled down the window.
The driver then extended his arm, pointing a gun towards the sky.
Suddenly, two loud gunshots rang out as the car moved closer to the elephant.
When the elephant remained unfazed, the driver fired two more shots.
Despite the noise, the elephant showed no signs of being startled and continued to investigate the truck.
A Honda, witnessing the scene, quickly made a U-turn and left the area.
Eventually, the truck managed to pass the elephant, clearing the road.
Park files police complaint against driver
Following the incident, park officials conducted a search of the area and, with the help of metal detectors, discovered four 9mm shell casings.
Two of the casings were THAIARMS branded, one was a LUGER, and one was unidentified.
The authorities are currently searching for the driver of the black sedan.
With the evidence gathered, the park filed a police complaint against the driver, who now faces six charges.
The driver is wanted for endangering wildlife by discharging a firearm, firing a gun within a wildlife sanctuary, carrying a weapon in public, and other offences.
